Long Walk, short walk draw different audiences

We have added a new option to our line-up of free urban hikes along Thornton Creek. Now you can register for our all-day South Fork Long Walk from Northgate to Matthews Beach Saturday, Sept. 27 -- or our new 2-hour walk starting and ending at Northgate Saturday, Oct. 11. Learn more...


Our kayak has launched

16 people and a dog delighted in the first of 4 gorgeous, family-paced kayak tours. During last night's debut, Homewaters partnered with Alki Kayak & the Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition to bring kayakers views of osprey, cormorants, mergansers, restoration projects and superfund sites(!). What better way to spend a summer evening than on the home waters of Chief Seattle's people, the Duwamish River? Learn about 3 upcoming paddles...
